PLANNED TRIPS FOR 2024
Perth Mint
Tuesday 30th July 2024
Time: 08:45am for 9:00am depature - returns 3:30pm approx.
Cost: $90 (includes 2 course lunch).
Booking: Open 7 May 2024.
We start the day with a traditional morning tea at beautiful Victoria Gardens before arriving at Perth Mint. Our guided tour through the grand heritage building includes the amazing spectacle of a traditional gold pour. You’ll also hear the many extraordinary stories about our golden history. Discover the treasure trove of coins and gifts in the shop before heading for the Stirling Arms Hotel for a choice of fish and chips, bangers and mash or salt and pepper squid. After lunch we will head for the Swan valley for a quick visit to Whistlers Chocolate Factory before heading home. Meal selections to be advised when you confirm final numbers.

The Wokalup

The Wokalup is a good old fashioned country pub with a rich history since 1906. Over the years it has changed and evolved, but at it’s heart it has always been a place for the community to gather and enjoy each other’s company. The Wokalup has had many owners, licensees and publicans over the past 100 or so years.
Currently the Wokalup is owned by Megan Hardwick and Bruce Hathway. With a passion for great food, excellent customer service and engaging with the community, they have taken this little country pub and breathed new life into it so it continues to be not only a great spot for the locals, but is also a destination worth raving about!
